Curious about your teacher? Let me introduce myself. I’m Dominika Maszczynska, a highly experienced and dedicated musician and teacher with a strong background in both performance and music education. I teach at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and regularly collaborate with the Royal College of Music.
I graduated with distinction from both the Royal College of Music in London and the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and performed across Europe and South America, collaborating with many prominent musicians throughout my career. My recordings have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, among others.

Dominika impressed with her energetic expression, musicality and technical dexterity.

My teaching experience
I bring a wealth of professional expertise to my teaching, working with students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced pianists preparing for ABRSM, Trinity music exams, and performance diplomas. My lessons are personalised, focusing on technical development, musicality, and performance skills.
Besides collaborating with music colleges in London, I gained valuable teaching experience as a private tutor and piano teacher at specialist music schools in Poland. This diverse background has allowed me to explore various teaching methods and approaches, shaping a style that is both unique and effective.
How can we work together?
Whether you’re preparing for exams, recitals, or simply want to improve your playing, I tailor each lesson to help you reach your goals. And if you think it’s too late to start your piano journey, consider this: some of my students are over 80 years old! Visit the adult piano lessons page to learn more about what I offer.
